Muharram 2019 Programme


Leeds Muslim Youth Group (LMYG) and Baab-Ul-Ilm Centre is proud to announce Muharram 2019 programme.

This year we will be joined by Sheikh Jaffar Ladak (Resident Alim Hujjat Stanmore – London) for 12 nights of spiritual revival that will refresh, recharge and rejuvenate every person.

Daily Majlis – 31st August -11th September (8pm) Starting with congressional prayer (Salaat-ul Magrabain), daily lecture, matam/latmiya and open Q&A.

This year the theme will be ‘Islam in Britain & Britain in Islam 2020-2030’.

Organ Donation Symposium – 7th September (4pm) Join us to explore Blood, Bone-Marrow and Organ Donation in Islam and the 2020 law.

Muslim Identity Workshop – 8th September (4pm) A youth workshop for 14-17 year olds, discussing Shia/Sunni identity and dialogue. Facilitated scenario and discussions with Sheikh Ladak
