Baab Ul ‘Ilm Announcement 📣 Launch of the Mercy to Mankind Food Bank

“They give food out of their love for Him (Allah) to the needy, the orphan and the captive” (Quran 76:8)

We are delighted to announce a long term partnership with the East SILC John Jamieson School establishing the ‘Mercy to Mankind Food Bank’ at the school in the name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s). The bank will primarily be available to the families of the school which supports children with complex needs.

The launch of this partnership will be on Thursday’s Milad an-Nabi celebration with a bake sale to raise funds for the food bank. The Baab are inviting all kids, youth and adults to bring or bake whatever they would like for sale, where stalls will be available immediately after the programme. The entirety of the proceeds will go towards the food bank – yep, all 100% of them!
